I am a technology enthusiast interested in system administration and cloud infrastructure.

I have experience working with IBM WebSphere Application server in Capgemini as a middleware engineer maintaining the environment of Horizon BCBSNJ for deployment of java business applications (EARs), upgrade and installation of WAS, creation of clustered JVMs, deployment managers and multi node network deployments. The environment contained 400+ servers including AIX and Windows machines with IIS running the websites in DMZ and IBM WAS app servers running enterprise java business logic apps on AIX or Windows machines. Managed administration of IBM HTTP Server which was used for exposing the log directories of the app servers to internal developers/testers in non-prod and prod environments for troubleshooting/testing. Worked on Jenkins extensively for URL monitoring and custom jobs, automated rolling restart of JVM clusters of WAS using shell script. Also got exposure to the CICD Jenkins pipeline that would pull code from bitbucket, build, take dependencies from Sonatype Nexus Repository, check code quality using SonarQube and deploy into AWS ECS while using Apigee for API management.

After that I worked in Deloitte in their eDiscovery engineering team for administration of EDSC platforms like Relativity, eCapture, NUIX, Brainspace running on Windows and RHEL systems along with database administration of MS SQL Server with total environment size being 500+ servers. Worked on PowerShell scripts, created a few to aid in installation and decommissioning of Relativity, parallel deletions, etc. Here I got to work on Azure Blob Storage to implement a TB size data archiving workflow, Brainspace app Azure instance setup and its data migration, researching, testing, documenting and guiding the team in implementing various goals like SSL certificate renewal of various apps including RabbitMQ and Systran, Erlang upgrade, service account password rotations, GMSA implementation in SQL Servers, disk expansion in Azure VMs, vendor app upgrades, dotNet website and Windows service deployments in IIS, etc. Led a team of 3 members for projects decommissioning workflow, worked towards addressing process gaps and created/updated instruction documents. This role involved contacting and coordinating with third party application Vendors for troubleshooting app functionality and anomalies.
As ticketing tool, have used ServiceNow extensively following ITIL processes, IBM ClearQuest and versioning artifacts tool SVN.

Currently I am working in LTIMindtree for the travel technology company Sabre in their Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to migrate bunch of dotnet based web applications and windows services from on-prem data centre to Google Cloud Platform utilising GCP compute engine, external and internal load balancers, buckets, managed instance groups (MIG) for auto scaling, FileStore for NFS storage, SSL certificates, IIS, DNS, Imperva for WAF and CDN, bitbucket for code repository using git, etc. Setting up the applications for high availibility fault tolerant workflow. Here I am getting to work on terraform for GCP infrastructure provisioning, Veracode for static and dynamic code scanning to find out vulnerabilities in the application code, Windows FTP server for file transfers and Nexus repository as the built artifacts repository.
